Hi, I’m Ugo.

 

Welcome to Power Word.

​I  am an author, lawyer, educator, mother—and, most importantly for this space, a lifelong student of the Bible.

​

Power Word grew out of something very simple: my love for God’s Word and my desire to understand what it means for the ordinary things we face every day.

​

Join me as we explore God’s Word and how it applies to our daily lives. Through Power Word, I share simple reflections as I learn, read, and look more closely at what Scripture is saying.

​

I also enjoy telling stories through photographs. Many of these devotions will be paired with photographs from my own portfolio—small moments of beauty that may invite us to pause as we reflect on God’s Word.

My hope is that something you read here will encourage you to return to Scripture, see something you may not have noticed before, and carry a word from God with you into your day.
